Series consists of money order receipts, a letter to Henry T. d’Entremont from the Post Office Inspector in Halifax, N.S. concerning the establishment of a post office in Lower East Pubnico, a postmaster’s book recording the mail which was processed at the general store, and a “Letter To Retiring Postmaster” – a document giving charge of the post office to L.L. LeBlanc.
Some consignment records were kept in the postmaster’s cash books. Some of these cash book stubs may, therefore, be found in MG 200, Ser. A, Sub-series 4, File 3.
