SERIES E: SUB-SERIES 1-10 Reports to the Department of Education. — 1944-1981. — 41 cm. of textual records.
Series consists of reports to the Department of Education pertaining to finances of schools, maintenance of schools buildings, employee salaries (especially those of teachers), transportation, board and other expenditures for students, and “Annual School Directories of Nova Scotia”. (These directories list the names of the school sections, secretaries of trustees, teachers, and the dates of opening of schools.) Also includes samples of “Reports to the Department of Education on Conveyance” found in Sub-series 4, 1951-1952, 1958-59, and 1968-1969.
