Series consists of Deeds made to the Municipality of Argyle, Mortgages held by the Municipality of Argyle, title searches carried out on behalf of the Municipality of Argyle, and legal agreements between husbands and wives under the Married Women’s Property Act.
Sub-series 1: Deeds & Mortgages. — 1880-1913. — 2 cm of textual records.
Sub-series consists of deeds and mortgages which involve the transferal of property from individuals to the Overseers of the Poor in exchange for their care and maintenance; deed for Free Baptist graveyard at East Pubnico; and deed for division of Larkin land at East Pubnico.

Deeds made to the Municipality of Argyle for the purpose of constructing roads & bridges are found in RG3 Series J, Sub-series 3. These deeds are also often recorded in the Minute Books, RG3 Series A.
