True certified copy of the records from the family Bible of Walter & Eunice Larkin of East Pubnico, NS who were married in 1866[?] Only title page between Old & New Testaments has survived. No publication information given – ca.1866[?] Title page preceding New Testament indicates that this edition had notes, etc. by Rev.Ingram Cobbin, M.A.

Loaned for copying by Kenneth Peters, Pubnico, NS who received same from Mrs. Clara (Wyman) Cook, Sydney, Cape Breton, formerly of East Pubnico, NS , and granddaughter of Nettie [Corinne Vanetta] Larkin. 6p. [2 copies]

True certified copy of the records from the family Bible of Caleb Larken & Mary E. Atkins, who were married 30 Jan 1850.  Original Bible, according to ebay description, measured aproximately 8″ x 10 3/4″ x 4″ thick.  Title page read “The Holy bible Containing the Old and New Testaments According to the Authorized Version with the Marginal references…”Sheila Macauley, Society member, of Concord, MA, saw this Bible for sale on ebay.  Some scans of pages and some transcribed text on ebay was printed up, and donated to the archives.

Published at Hartford by Case, Tiffany & Co., 1856.  It is not known who owned the original Bible in 2006.  3p.

True certified copy of the records from the family Bible of Mary Locke of Ragged Islands [Lockeport], Shelburne Co., NS who married Charles H. Boucher on 21 Oct. 1852. Bible was published by the American Bible Society, New York, 1844.
