A true certified copy of the records of the family of T. Peter Nichols of New Tusket, Digby Co., NS and Annie A. Prime who were married at Weymouth, NS on 18 October 1879. Bible records their births, those of their parents, children, etc. Bible also contained records of marriage and death of family members as well as a photographic portrait of Robert Charlton Prime. This is a “Parellell-Column” edition of the Holy Bible published in Boston by W. L. Richardson & Co., in 1886.
The Bible is owned in 1999 by Eric Whitehouse, Deer- field, Yar. Co., NS. He inherited the Bible from Viney (Whitehouse) Griffin of Darlings Lake, Yar. Co., NS, formerly of Brazil Lake, Yar. Co., NS. She was a granddaughter of Peter Nichols. p. 8 [M1999:30]

Original family Bible of Stephen Nickerson & Sally [Sarah] Allen of Argyle head, Yar. Co., NS who were married 3 Jan. 1826. Bible published by Charles Gaylord, Boston, 1832.
Includes births & deaths for Stephen Nickerson’s parents & siblings. Original Bible was donated to the archives by Dr. V. Morse Nickerson, Vancouver St., Yarmouth, NS who owned the original in 1991. Morse Nickerson was not a direct descendant of the original owner of the Bible. Some member of the Nickerson family of Argyle Head gave this Bible to his father, A. Lovitt Nickerson, many years ago. Archives also has a true certified copy of the record from the Bible. 7p. [2 copies]

Original family Bible of John Nickerson & Sara Ann Larkin of East Pubnico, Yar. Co., NS who were married ca. 1910-11 Bible printed at the University Press, Oxford, 1895. Includes records of Sara Ann Larkin’s parents & siblings.
Donated to the archives by Doris (Larkin) Peters, Pubnico, NS She was given this family Bible by Miss Frances Nickerson & Reginald Nickerson – daughter & son of John Nickerson & Sara Ann Larkin.

MG1 Ser. E Nickerson, #3
Original family Bible of Heman & Susan (Doane) Nickerson of Argyle Head, Yar.Co., N.S. who were married 25 Feb. 1865. Bible contains only the records of birth for their children between 1868 and 1874. Only one or two additional dates are given. There may be missing pages from the record.
The title page is also missing from the Bible. Glued in the front of the Bible are obituaries for Aldred Alder Doane, Mrs. Thaddeus Nickerson, Heman Nickerson, Nehemiah Doane, Leonard W. Roberts, Eliza M. Slocomb and a wedding notice for Lovitt Nickerson & Minnie Williams. All of these clippings are undated. 756p. [Bible - Access.#M1998:120]
